DIY All-Purpose Cleaning Spray

This homemade all-purpose cleaner is effective, easy to make, non-toxic, and much less expensive than the green cleaners at the store!

I prefer to keep our home as chemical-free as possible. After all, we’re exposed to a myriad of chemicals out in the world already; our home should be a place where our bodies can rest from the fight against toxins.

Since most commercial cleaners contain ingredients that I don’t want in my home, I’ve resorted to making my own homemade cleaning spray! It works great, is easy to make, is all-natural, and is very inexpensive.

Vinegar is very effective for killing most mold, bacteria, and germs, due to its level of acidity.

Plus, I love that all of the ingredients are safe so that I feel comfortable letting my kids use this cleaner for their chores. 😉

I use this cleaner on the kitchen table and counters, bathroom sink and toilet, and even the windows. It’s safe to use on all surfaces, though I recommend testing in a small inconspicuous spot first.

If it still smells like vinegar after you clean, the smell usually fades as the surfaces dry.
