Homemade Guacamole Recipe - the BEST guac ever. Wish it wasn't so addictive!

I love guacamole. It’s one of my favorite foods and I eat it almost every single day! So, I’m VERY excited to be sharing this recipe today!

Since I eat guacamole so often, I prefer to use as few ingredients as possible while still keeping the classic flavor. Therefore, this recipe only uses six ingredients!

Something to keep in mind – the fresher the better! Do not make it ahead of time; wait to make it until right before you plan to eat it. 😉

Simple and Easy Guacamole Recipe – Only 6 Ingredients


  • 2 avocados
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • juice from 1 lime
  • 1/4 cup red onion, diced
  • 1 small jalapeno, seeded and finely diced
  • 1/3 cup tomato, diced


  1. Cut open avocados and remove pits.
  2. Mash avocado, lime juice, and sea salt together in a bowl.
  3. Stir in remaining ingredients.
  4. Serve immediately.
